环氧防腐漆使用的广泛性

在各种防腐漆中，浅色、高固体分、无溶剂化是船舱涂料的发展方向。从资料来看，环氧防腐漆具有突出的附着力和耐蚀性能，而且通过改变颜填料和固化剂等手段，可以制成多种多样、性能各异的涂料品种，世界上使用最广泛、最为重要的防腐漆品种。

国涂料用树脂的生产中，环氧防腐漆的品种最多、性能最稳定，约40%环氧树脂被用于制造涂料。环氧树脂在紫外线作用下会发生粉化，所以环氧防腐漆一般不作为户外面漆使用，但其粉化的速度很慢，如果不考虑外观，单从保护基材的角度看，仍然可以使用，尤其是脂环族环氧树脂具有较好的耐候性能。

此外，纯环氧树脂脆性较大，一般在环氧中添加增韧剂，约使用一年后，增韧剂挥发，涂膜脆性急剧增大，机械冲击下会发生脱落等弊病，所以，目前一般用柔性树脂对环氧进行改性，称为改性环氧树脂和改性环氧防腐漆。
